This is a tough one to put into words and the success of the project – as with most salvage projects – is incredibly reliant on your access to the appropriate recycled components, but let’s give it a shot anyway:.
But still, that’s pretty amazing, especially when you consider that we only had to do one coat, so we really were completely finished!.I can’t tell you how exciting and liberating the idea of painting something in just one coat is for me!
The paint also dries amazingly quickly, so we were able to test it out almost right away and see how it would look with some bottles inside and some fun flowers on top!.I think it turned out so beautifully and it’s going to look amazing in Sarah’s kitchen!.You know I just love my grey paint!
Colors always seem to pop so nicely when you have the perfect shade of grey to pair with them.I think the velvetty matte finish of this Black Dog Salvage Furniture Paint really enhances the color of the paint too..

With a fourth person in the house, we were definitely in need of some more seating so we had the sectional and the chair made in really durable fabrics that can stand up to a little boy jumping all over them and smearing various food products into them all day long.. We really do spend the majority of our time in here playing and hanging out and eating and playing some more so this room really needs to be tough and also comfortable..The one major thing that we didn’t change in here since last year is the rug.
I’ve actually had a lot of people ask me about this rug even though it’s really just a super cheap, basic rug from a big box store.It came from those bins with the rolls of rugs that are meant to be put in a garage or somewhere really utilitarian.
